1.1.1 DESKTOP

A Desktop License is necessary for the production of printed comments, logotype creation and website graphics. It will depend on the number of computers (CPU) where they will be installed and which remain property of the buyer. Our license considers the embedding of fonts in PDF files. It is strictly prohibited to share the license with third parties.

 

 

 

1.2 WEB

The web license allows the use of our typographies between a certain range of unique visitors per month (UVPM), its implementation is made through @font-face and css technology, never through direct availability on a personal server. Its conversion to different formats used in web standards (eot, woff, woff2, svg, and others that may arise) is strictly prohibited.

 

 

 

1.3 APP & MOBILE

The license for apps and software is determined by the number of applications that will make use of the fonts, the Mobile mode in turn will be guaranteed with the license for applications. It is strictly prohibited to assign the rights of use to other parties.

 

 

 

1.4 BROADCASTING

The broadcasting license is terminated by the quantity of continents where the typography will be displayed. Including the web platforms where streaming is used as a method of font visualization.

1.1.1 EULA

This is an agreement between you, buyer and licensee, and Nodo Type Foundry S.A. (hereinafter NTF). By purchasing, downloading, installing, using or handling the digital typographic software (hereinafter, fonts), you are accepting the terms of this agreement. By accepting the terms, you understand, acknowledge and agree to comply with them. This agreement supersedes and supplants any oral, written or previously made agreement between you and NTF. You are acquiring a license for the integrated use of fonts in applications, also called “software” (hereinafter, applications). You acquire a certain number of licenses to embed NTF fonts in a certain number of applications created WITHIN YOUR ORGANIZATION by a specific number of developers, designers or other creators involved in the development of the application that use the fonts. Once the application with the embedded font is launched or distributed, privately or publicly, it will count towards the application limit covered by your license. Even if you do not actively do so or if you passively distribute that application, it still counts towards the limit of applications covered by your license. You are not buying the typographic design copyright or any other part involved in the design or programming of the fonts. You are acquiring the right to use a specific number of licenses, in a specific number of devices INSIDE YOUR ORGANIZATION, as specified in this agreement. Installation on any other device is prohibited. Once the application with the embedded font has been launched or distributed, privately or publicly, it would count towards the limit of applications covered by your license. Even if you no longer actively or passively distribute that application, it will still count towards the limit covered by your license. “Embed” and “use” comprise the use of fonts in applications, and means embedding font files through various means (depending on the operating system and programming platform) in the application or in an application package. Fonts are used by that application to design dynamic or static text within those applications. “Applications” means applications capable of running and operating on one of the following operating system platforms: Microsoft Windows, Apple OS X, Apple iOS, Android. All versions of the aforementioned operating systems are covered in this agreement, to the extent that they support the font files provided by NTF. The list of supported operating systems may change, depending on the technological developments of the systems and the support they offer in fonttechnology, also at NTF’s discretion. INSIDE YOUR ORGANIZATION means use within your company or organization, in all business locations, but does not include use by your customers or outsourced employees outside your business locations. The use of the fonts in the devices WITHIN YOUR ORGANIZATION is restricted for the use, embedding and design activities or application development. Fonts may not be used for other purposes than those defined in this license. The number of devices on which you can install the fonts will depend on the number of licenses purchased, according to the reference documentation of your purchase. You can make file copies of the fonts for your own purposes, which will count towards the number of devices determined in your purchase documentation. You should not distribute fonts to people outside your organization. A copy of the fonts can be sent to an outsourced developer if absolutely necessary. Embedding fonts with the CSS @ font-face technique is prohibited. Fonts cannot be embedded in any other format or in any other form under this license. It is forbidden to create bitmap or vector images, with the exception of preview images of the application you are designing, to receive feedback on the design of the application or to show the design in your portfolio. The creation of bitmaps and vectors for uses not covered by the license is prohibited. You must not modify the fonts without first obtaining written permission from NTF. You may make the changes after receiving the official written notification. Even after making modifications, all copyrights and trademarks, for both the original version and the edited version remain with NTF and their respective owners, and the number of devices covered by the license will remain the same. Likewise, any activity outside the legal uses described in this license, such as distribution, loan, rental, sale, gift, or sharing any modified or unmodified version of the sources, is prohibited. NTF does not offer any type of support, nor does it guarantee the correct functioning of the modified sources and is free of any responsibility for the material damages that the modification of the source could cause. If you experience any difficulties with our fonts, we will do our best to work with you in resolving any technical inconvenience arising from the production. If after trying to resolve the problem, you are still not satisfied with our product, we will be happy to refund your money, provided the claim is made within the stipulated limits. Only technical problems are reason for reimbursement, and you have to clearly demonstrate that they exist and cannot be resolved by NTF. The refund terminates the license of use. You must notify NTF about such problems within the first 30 days after your purchase. The actual refund can only be given within the first 60 days after your purchase, and not at any time after the stipulated deadlines. Any breach of the terms and conditions of this agreement will terminate your license to use the fonts. Once the agreement is over you must destroy any copy of the fonts, including your file copy. Each and every one of the rights not expressly granted in this agreement are reserved for NTF.

2.1 ABOUT PAYMENT AND PRICES

Prices on our website are stated in US dollars and our licenses are one time fees. Payment will be made through WooCommerce® and PayPal®. Credit cards and other payment methods will be processed by these same services.

3.1 ABOUT COPYRIGHT

By purchasing any of our fonts you are acquiring the license for its use, under certain conditions clarified in the End-User License Agreement (EULA). The intellectual property derived from typographic software production remain in Nodo’s ownership. Any violation of this agreement will be penalized by international laws under the clauses that protect intellectual property.

3.2 ABOUT SOFTWARE RESTRICTIONS

Certain activities are prohibited depending on the type of license acquired. In some cases the embedding of the font are restricted. Any kind of commercialization: license sharing, font modification for personal gain, conversion from one format to another or allowing their download under any modality is strictly prohibited. Any operation that has not been clarified within the previously mentioned licensing clauses must be subject to consultation with NODO Type Foundry, being the only party with the authority to grant the corresponding permits and the owner of the intellectual property of the typographic software.

4.1 ABOUT PRIVACY

We respect your privacy, therefore all provided information will be treated with utmost care and under the highest security possible and will only be used under mutual agreement of both parties with the limits established in this statement.   We will only collect your personal data when its provided to us directly, with your expressed and duly informed consent.   We will used the provided information to: track the transaction process, send updates, provide technical service that may be of interest to you, improve the service and for statistical purposes of NODO Type Foundry.   Personal data security is a priority for NODO Type Foundry, therefore unidentifiable data and statistics will not be shared under any terms with third parties.

4.2 ABOUT COOKIES

We may collect and process information about your visit to this website through cookies.
